The official Danish Gravel Championships (Danmarksmesterskab i gravel), held in Nordskoven outside Silkeborg with the event village at VIA University College, Nattergalevej 1. Championship jerseys and DCU medals are awarded in Elite, U23 and U19 (men and women); open age-group classes run alongside for everyone else. The main circuit is a 21 km loop of roughly 90% gravel through hilly forest, ridden 2-5 times depending on class (Elite Men 5 laps / 105 km). Young Guns classes (U11-U15) ride a separate 12.5 km 100% gravel loop. All classes from U17 upwards add a 12.5 km start loop on top of their listed distance. The event is the dress rehearsal for the 2028 European Gravel Championships.
