TIRE INTEL
The Drivvejen mixes hardpack gravel, sealed roads, and sandy heath sections. A balanced all-rounder works best. Tubeless mandatory for the distance.
WEATHER PLAYBOOK
Late June West Jutland: 14-22°C typical, persistent westerly wind 25-50 km/h, occasional rain. Long daylight hours (sunset 22:30, sunrise 04:30) make night riding shorter. Pack layers + waterproof.
PACING PLAYBOOK
Settle into ultra rhythm. Resist starting fast — you have hours ahead.
Wind exposure begins. Group up where possible. Eat constantly.
Mental low point. Manage sleep needs honestly. Push through or rest 30 min.
You're close. Final 50 km will feel longer than the first 200. One foot in front of the other.
